if there is no slot for UMD... its a complete failure... Why would I want a NEW PSP, if I can't play my old games.
Honestly I have owned 4 or 5 of these things, and every single one has either died, or I just traded in because of the lack of games.
What reasoning do I have to pick it up if it doesn't support UMD... If its a 64gb machine... thats cool... Can I play PS2 games on it? How about Ps3 arcade games...
I know that they will want to limit the games to NGP games only at least for a while, but the only thing that would interest me 100% is PS2 game downloads... I would buy them by the boat load for $10... provided the system can handle games like GT4 or Soul Calibur 3.

All I can say is WANT.
No umd makes me happy. That was a huge mistake even making that format.
If they can make the cloud work and 3g affordable I want even more.
The lineup of announced games is great and the simple fact that it took less than a week to port games like mgs4 and lost planet 2 for the tech demos makes me know they could answer everyone wanting the return of ps2 on a new system with ease.
The games playable on this and ps3 with same save would be great as well.
Just wonder what the actual model will look at release since developers say they have dev kits that are sliders looking more like a PSP go than a 3000 system.
