If anyone still checks here... anyone looking to get Xbox One and/or PS4 when they come out or shortly there after?
I have 2 Xbox Ones preordered and debating on the PS4. From the whole 5 minutes I've spent looking the PS4 seems to have the better launch titles so far. But will see as E3 rolls on.

Xbox pretty much undid it's shooting itself in the foot during it's unveil with it's E3 presentation, Sony on the other hand held a yawn fest with the exceptions of The Division, Killzone and Destiny which is going mult-platform anyway. In any case it was TitanFall that made me drool... I'll be getting an Xbox One as soon as I can afford it.

Hey Alpha
If I had to make a choice on a console it would have to be the PS4. To much good stuff... Myself , still sticking with PC.

I think the talk over how the PS4 beat out the Xbox One was kinda overblown in my opinion.
Other than the $100 price difference the negatives toward Xbone I think are none issues.
The 24 hour online check in? Who doesn't have an internet connection at this stage of the game?
No used/rented games? I've never sold or bought a used game. Want a just released game? Pay the extra $5 and have it go to the publisher vs some place like gamestop.
Kinect always connected = MS spying on us in the living room? What doesnt have a camera on it nowadays? Laptops, cell phones and even new tvs have cameras built in. Worst case put a postitnote over the lens.
I also think the exclusives on Xbone look better than the PS4 exclusives. And most of the launch titles are multiplatform.
So my final take - I have both Xbone and PS4 on preorder. Xbone will be my primary system where i get most of my game and multiplatform games. PS4 will be for the exclusives. Just like what I have with the 360 and PS3

Well thats all solved now.
Microsoft pulled the DRM on the Xbox One. There is no 24 hour check in and all games will work as they do today.
Also you can download games off LIVE the day they come out. No more going to the store to get a game unless you want a disk

Actually I was looking forward to the new stuff, I really wanted to see how it was implemented. The family sharing plan was a really sweet deal that still might rear it's head again in the future, time will tell.

Always Been the Xbox one for me. only one ps4 exclusive in the release window was I even interested in. Which was the new infamous game. Seeing as how that is a single player game I can wait for a year or so to pick it up. Most good exclusive ps3 games were mainly solely single player. So who cares when I get that system to play single player.
I am still upset they caved with their drm. It was pretty much steam on a console. See nothing wrong with that. Then having the great online infrastructure and only mp games even more to add.
Oh well. Either way xbox one is my direction. Will be my only console for likely a year or so.

Gamestop just showed off a deal when you are a pro rewards member you can get select 360 games. Like madden and COD and when the xbox one releases you can trade them in and get the xbox one edition for $10. Not bad if you ask me. Especially with how your stats transfer over from 360 to xbox one on COD. I think I may jump on that for both madden and cod.

Release dates are now out.
November 15th for PS4 November 22nd for Xbox One
I thought Xbone was gonna come out same day as CoD Ghost but oh well. Out on a Friday then a short work week means lots of time to play.
I decided only to get the Xbone for now. Games - CoD Ghost, Forza 5 CE, Dead Rising 3, Battlefield 4, and WatchDogs
I'll probably go Ghost on 360 since player stats carry over between system families and I dont want to be 2.5 weeks behind when the Xbone comes out.
See you on the 22nd

I am doing the same with ghost. Playing on 360 till the one releases. Nice how even season passes carry over as well.
I also just realized this will be my first day one console since the Dreamcast.

Just about a month left! I'm actually kinda bummed since Watch Dogs got pushed until June of 14. Was looking forward to something other than a FPS...
Line up stands right now - Ghost (360 and One), Battlefield 4, and Forza 5. Not sure yet about Dead Rising 3.
Most games I have interest in are 2014 releases.
Until then its Diablo 3 and Pokemon X (for the nostalgia)

Yeah the delay on watchdogs does suck. I'm still debating on if I will get forza or dead rising day one. Aside from ghost and madden that is. Was hoping for nhl 14 to be released on the one but oh well.

Have to let me know how forza is when you get it. Only played forza 2 for a short while at a buddys house. Never actually owned a forza myself.
